IMMIGRATION MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION SERVICES

Types of Evaluations Completed:

We provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to support various immigration cases. These evaluations are conducted by an independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), who understands the complexities of immigration law and the impact of trauma and hardship.

  • Asylum Evaluations: Evaluates the mental health consequences of past persecution or a well-founded fear of future persecution to support an asylum claim.

These evaluations document the psychological impact of trauma, including PTSD, anxiety, and depression.

  • Cancellation of Removal: Assesses the hardship to qualifying family members (children, spouse) if the applicant is removed from the USA.   These evaluations highlight the emotional, financial, and social consequences of separation on family members.

  •  Extreme Hardship Waiver (I-601/I-601A): Focuses on the severe mental and emotional impact that a U.S. citizen or permanent resident relative would face if the applicant is deported.   This evaluation thoroughly examines the potential psychological distress and disruption to family life.

  • T-Visa Evaluations: Focuses on the mental health impact of human trafficking.    The evaluation documents the trauma experienced by victims of trafficking, including the psychological consequences of exploitation and abuse.

  • U-Visa Evaluations: Evaluates the emotional and psychological effects of being a victim of a qualifying serious crime.   This evaluation provides detailed information on the psychological trauma resulting from criminal victimization, such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression.

  • VAWA (Violence Against Women Act): Documents the psychological impact of abuse on the immigrant spouse, child, or parent of a U.S. citizen/permanent resident.

This evaluation describes the effects of domestic violence and abuse, including emotional distress, trauma, and diminished self-esteem.

Please note: These services are not covered by insurance.
